The New 2017 Nissan Titan Available at Tischer Nissan for Laurel, MD

The 2017 Nissan Titan is a new, much needed, full-size truck for the real truck enthusiast. Offered as the light-duty Nissan Titan or the heavy duty Nissan Titan XD, both versions will be blow your mind. They are both available in five trim levels: the S, SV, Pro 4X, SL, and the Platinum Reserve.

The 2017 Nissan Titan Interior Highlights:

The interior is bold, yet simple with its utilitarian design. There is plenty of storage available, and the center console is large with large controls that can be used with gloves. Perfect for workers on the go! The 2017 Nissan Titan’s Zero Gravity front seats are supportive, which makes for that comfort we are all looking for on long trips. Platinum Reserve boasts leather seats that are also power-adjustable, as is the steering wheel. The Titan will come with a 7-inch navigation screen as well as a rearview camera. There is also a driver information center which appears in the instrument cluster making for that perfect driving experience.

The 2017 Nissan Titan Exterior Highlights:
The 2017 Nissan Titan boasts a tougher look than the Titan ever has. Even though the grilles are different for the Titan and Titan XD they use the same styling theme. Large, bold, chrome backed by active grille shutters that help reduce aerodynamic drag by 10 percent versus the previous versions of the Nissan Titan. The two-tone look is sure to make it stand out from others trucks in its class. The convenient utility track system for the bed is ideal for securing your most precious cargo, complete with movable cleats for tie-downs. The tailgate is damped and lowers easily instead of slamming down, and will close easily with one hand, thanks to the strut hidden behind the right rear taillight assembly. Lights mounted low illuminate the bed contents, even when a cover is installed. The 2017 Nissan Titan XD is substantially larger than the non-XD Titan. The XD is 2 inches taller and nearly 15 inches longer overall.

What is under the hood of the 2017 Nissan Titan:
The 2017 Nissan Titan has a powerful 5.6-liter V-8 engine that generates an impressive 390 horsepower. Fuel economy has been improved by 28% over its previous versions with an estimated 15 mpg city, 21 highway, and 18 combined. Available in the 2017 Titan XD is a 5.0 liter Cummins turbodiesel V-8 engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. This combination produces 310 horsepower and 555 lb-ft of torque. Fuel economy ratings will not be published for the Titan XD because fuel economy regulations don’t apply to vehicles with a curb weight over 6,000 pounds. Nonetheless, the Titan XD diesel should be efficient for a heavy duty truck because diesel engines are inherently more efficient than gasoline engines. The light duty Titan and the Titan XD have a towing capacity over 9,000 lbs and the XD has a payload capacity of 2,594 pounds.
